Clinical Significance

The presence of HLA B27 adds weight to a clinical diagnosis of seronegative spondyloarthropathies including ankylosing spondylitis, acute anterior uveitis, iritis, psoriatic arthritis, Reiter’s syndrome and Crohn’s disease.
